Property rules
We want our guests to have a relaxing and safe vacation at PASIPHAE. For this reason, we have established a short list of rules and guidelines that all guests must comply with. By confirming a reservation at Pasiphae you accept the following rules and instructions:
Number of guests
All bookings and financial arrangements are made for a specific number of guests. This number must be specified and confirmed by the customer during the booking process. No more guests than this number will be allowed unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Arrival
We must know your arrival details for the desired check-in time at least 24 hours before your arrival date in Pasiphae. On the way, you are required to let us know if your flight / ship is delayed or canceled for any reason, so that we can notify the escort of your villa of the delay.
Escort to your villa
Unless otherwise agreed, the property manager will meet you at the villa. Airport or port pick-up and car rentals can be charged at an additional cost. Additionally, you will be given the administrator's phone numbers to contact for help or advice.
Identification
Upon check-in, at least one of the guests must submit his / her passport or identity card and pay off the remaining balance (if any). The passport and/or identity card will be photocopied and returned to the owner.
Check-in & Check-out
Your stay at the villa starts at 14.00 on the check-in date and ends at 12.00 on the check-out date. While you are allowed to arrive after 14.00 on the day of your arrival, the timely time for the scheduled appointment with the villa manager is of great importance for the service of both parties. However, on the day of your departure, you are expected to leave the villa at least before 12 noon, unless otherwise agreed. [Possibility for late check-out exists but depends on availability and there is a possibility of extra charge]. In addition, if guests do not check in on time, there is a fixed amount to be charged] ..
Please note that 30 minutes before departure [11:30] you are expected to be available to inspect the villa for damage and loss,
Home use
Guests must comply with the laws governing Greece during your stay at the villa. Most importantly, they are not allowed to bring with them illegal, flammable, explosive or poisonous substances and objects to the villa. Nor are they allowed to break the law in other ways: the purpose of renting the villa is for domestic use only and they should not use the villa for aggressive and illegal purposes.
Therefore, guests are not allowed to sublet the villa any part of the villa to guests who are not included in the maximum number of guests agreed to rent the villa.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the villa. However, guests who wish to smoke are free to do so outdoors. Be careful not to leave cigarette butts in the villa or in any outdoor area, in order to comply with the safety rules for fire prevention. In case there is a sign of smoking inside the villa such as a bad smell and / or damage, guests will be charged the amount required to repair damaged items in their original condition and / or special cleaning materials such as curtains, pillows, etc.
Most importantly, guests should respect the fact that Pasiphae is a non-smoking villa and there are guests who have chosen it specifically for this reason.
Personal items - Security
Guests are responsible for the security of the villa during their stay. You must keep all windows and doors securely locked at all times when you are not on the premises. The owners of the villa and their representatives are not responsible for any loss of personal items or valuables.
Damage / Loss / Injuries
Upon arrival, guests will be informed about the available devices and services inside the villa and are obliged to use them according to the indications of the owner / representative of the villa. Any damage or disappearance of items and appliances provided to the villa should be notified immediately to the owner / representative of the villa and guests will be asked to pay the value of the missing or damaged goods. In addition, guests are expected to use the services provided in such a way as to avoid injury to any of the guests.
The property and the owners are not responsible for any accident, injury, or illness that may occur while you are on the premises. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests bear the risk of any injury that may result from the use of the premises.
Supervision of children
Children on the premises must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Swimming pool
Use the pool at your own risk. Keep children under constant supervision. Take a shower before using the pool. For your convenience, there is an outdoor shower. Do not enter the house wet or use indoor furniture. Pets are not allowed except in special cases and by agreement. There is a pool cleaning program, once every two days.
Vandalism
Any damage caused within the property including grass, paths, furniture and equipment will be assessed by the manager and the cost of any repairs or replacement items will be covered by the person in charge.
Candles & fire
It is not allowed to light a fire in any of the facilities of the villa. It is not yet allowed to light candles either indoors due to possible damage or outdoors as the area around the villa can be dry during the summer and easily flammable.
Residence keys
We will charge guests for the cost or replacement of any set of lost or misused keys.. Complaints & maintenance
The owner of the villa will make sure that all electrical appliances, Wi-fi, water supply, electricity,Gas supply, pool filtration system, air conditioning, etc. are in good working order. In case of maintenance problem, the owner should be informed immediately by the guests, in order to settle the immediate solution of the problem. However, no refunds or price adjustments can be made in such cases.
Entrance to the residence
The staff reserves the right to enter the property to perform their duties
such as cleaning service and any necessary repairs. We will make every effort to schedule such brief appearances at a convenient time, so that we respect your privacy and do not affect your stay.
Special circumstances
In special cases, the owner of the villa reserves the right to enter the villa even if guests are absent, for example when it is necessary to avoid foreseeable
or imminent danger (such as flood, fire). Guests will then be notified of the details of the event.
Absence of guests
In case guests wish to be away from the villa for more than 24 consecutive hours, the owner / agent should be informed for security reasons in the event of unexpected events and special circumstances.
Cleaning
Pasiphae is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before your arrival. Rates include every 4 days cleaning service, which includes kitchen and bathroom cleaning. Towels and bed linen are changed once every fourth (4) days. However, keep in mind that the above cleaning service does not include personal services such as cooking, laundry, babysitting, etc.
Shorter-term cleaning service is available only upon request and at an additional cost
Hours of common silence
The common quiet hours in Greece during the summer are 15.00-17.30 and 23.00 - 07.00. Despite the fact that the villa is located in a remote area and there are no neighbors, the excessive noise could provoke protests. As a general rule, guests should not disturb or endanger their neighbors at any time of the day or night.
It should be reminded that in October the common quiet hours are 15.00-17.30 and 22.00-07.30.
. People with special needs
The interior and exterior of Pasiphae has stairs, so if you have a disability or can not climb many stairs, it is not recommended to book your holiday with us.
Pets
Pets are not allowed
Tips
House is equipped with fire extinguishers one in each level plus one in service room
No papers or other solid materials are allowed in the toilets . In case such practice causes toilet
blockage , guests have to inform house manager immediately and bare the cost of service for unclogging
Naked fire is not allowed indoors and outdoors unless in the barbecue. This includes candles
Do not use water to put out hot charcoals in the barbecue .This will destroy the structure.Instead let them burn out slowly
Air condition is not operational when all doors of the room are not fully closed
We ask guests to comply with our rules and guidelines and also to be environmentally friendly. Before leaving the villa, make sure that you have turned off all electrical appliances, lights and air conditioning.
